This whole thing started with one too many “borrowed” hoses. After long days running dive charters, Joshua would come back to the dock tired and ready to wash down the boat — only to find the hose had “walked off.”
The wheels in his head are always turning, coming up with practical solutions. After one of his infamous end-of-day hose hunts in the hot sun, the idea for HoseGuard popped up in his head. It's a simple fix for an every day problem.
To make it real, he launched Innerlight Concepts — the company behind the HoseGuard, created to bring clever ideas that solve everyday marina and boating headaches to life.
We have a throwback video from back when HoseGuard was first invented. The story of HoseGuard has always been about keeping things practical, useful, and fun.
